About Incentive For The Simple Marriage
Karnataka’s Social Welfare Department runs the Simple Marriage scheme, which rewards SC couples who choose a simple wedding ceremony. It promotes the idea of simple marriages and gives eligible couples financial help.
SC couples who have a simple marriage and apply within 1 year of the wedding receive an incentive from the Social Welfare Department of Karnataka. The incentive, fixed at Rs. 50,000.00, is available only to couples married on or after 11-08-2015.
Applicants must live in Karnataka state, belong to the SC community, and have a total family income from all sources of no more than Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. Note that the scheme applies only within 1 year of marriage

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Incentive For The Simple Marriage, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Karnataka State Resident
Karnataka State Resident: Only people living in Karnataka state can apply.
SC Community
SC Community: The applicant has to be from the SC community.
Family Income
Family Income: Income of the family from every source must not go above Rs. 2 lakhs per annum.
Time Limit
Time Limit: Applications are valid only within 1 year of the wedding.
