About Home Nursing Scholarship Scheme
The Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa, offers the “Home Nursing Scholarship” to students from Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Class / Minorities and to Students with Disability. It supports Home Nursing courses at institutions recognised by the State/Central Government, covering Course Fees, a Maintenance Allowance and costs of Books, Uniform, Stationery and the like.

The parent's or guardian's yearly income from every…
The parent's or guardian's yearly income from every source must not be more than ₹1,50,000/-.
The student must be from a Scheduled Caste…
The student must be from a Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class / Minority or be differently-abled. NOTE: Holders of this scholarship cannot take any other scholarship/stipend for the same course.
Benefits Provided
Home Nursing Scholarship Scheme provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
COURSE FEES
Certificate Courses lasting at least Six Months
Certificate Courses lasting at least Six Months: ₹ 3,500/- or the actual fee, if lower.
Diploma Courses lasting One Year or more
Diploma Courses lasting One Year or more: ₹ 5,000/- or the actual fee, if lower.
Degree in Nursing lasting Three Years
Degree in Nursing lasting Three Years: ₹ 10,000/- or the actual fee, if lower.
Health Worker Course lasting One Year or more
Health Worker Course lasting One Year or more: ₹ 3,500/- or the actual fee, if lower. MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE (PER MONTH) For Day Scholars
