Loans for every recognised diploma/degree course at Government Institutions/Universities and constituent colleges of the University of Delhi are eligible for the guarantee, as are Private/Self-financed Institutions in Delhi with NAAC/NBA/SFRC grading. The department will urge all Private Institutions to obtain NAAC/NBA accreditation; meanwhile, the grading of the Third State Fee Regulatory Committee (SFRC), set up by the Directorate of Higher Education and Directorate of Training & Technical Education, may be used for Private Institutions, as it reflects infrastructure, faculty, academic standards and costs incurred.
