Haryana Merit Cum Means Scheme For Minority
About Haryana Merit Cum Means Scheme For Minority
The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, introduced the “Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship” in 2012 to help meritorious students from minority communities study professional and technical courses. It pays towards education costs of eligible minority students, supporting their socio-economic empowerment. In Haryana, the State Government runs the scheme together with the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs. Its main goals are to promote higher education, back bright students from economically weaker families, and widen fair access to education for minority communities.
