About Grant of Incentive for Marriage Between Differently Abled Person
Marriages in which both partners are differently abled are encouraged and supported by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry, under the “Grant of Incentive for Marriage Between Differently Abled Person”. The couple receives an incentive of ₹2,00,000/-, made up of ₹40,000 paid in cash and ₹1,60,000/- held as a National Savings Certificate (NSC). Beneficiaries are chosen periodically, depending on whether funds are available.
