About Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles
Persons with disability in Puducherry who own a motorised vehicle can have up to 50 % of their fuel cost subsidised under the “Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles”, introduced by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry. Beneficiaries are selected periodically based on available funds.

Benefits Provided
Grant of Fuel Subsidy to Differently Abled Persons Who Are Owning Motorised Vehicles provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Vehicles below 2 Horsepower
Vehicles below 2 Horsepower: half (50 %) of the fuel cost, up to 15 litres at most.
Vehicles of 2 Horsepower or more
Vehicles of 2 Horsepower or more: half (50 %) of the fuel cost, up to 25 litres at most.
