About Government of Mizoram Incentive Cash Award Scheme To Successful Candidates for Central and All India Service Examination
The Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Mizoram, introduced the “Government of Mizoram Incentive Cash Award Scheme To Successful Candidates for Central and All India Service Examination” to motivate educated young Indian citizens who are bonafide residents of Mizoram to aim for the Central and All India Services. It responds to the concern that educated Mizo youth have been falling behind and growing more marginalised in Union Public Service Commission examinations. Successful candidates receive an incentive cash award of ₹1,00,000/-, along with reimbursement of coaching and hostel fees.

The Section Officers (20% Direct recruitment by Union Public Service Commission) Examination. Two chances are allowed, meaning the preliminary exam may be cleared twice and the mains exam twice. A claim may cover only one examination at a time. Claims must be made in the prescribed form within 3 months of the results being declared.

Government of Mizoram Incentive Cash Award Scheme To Successful Candidates for Central and All India Service Examination provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Incentive Cash Award:
₹1,00,000/- paid as a one-time payment on clearing any eligible examination. Coaching Fee Reimbursement: The actual coaching fee paid or ₹20,000/-, whichever is lower (granted just once, not for a second attempt). Hostel/Mess Fee Reimbursement: ₹2,000/- a month for up to 6 months (granted just once, not for a second attempt). *The Secretary, Mizoram Scholarship Board, pays through E-Payment. *Claims are limited to one examination at a time. Claims have to be filed within 3 months of the result being declared.

Complete all mandatory fields in the form: applicant's name, father's/mother's name, permanent residence, date of birth, Aadhaar number, details of the examination for which the incentive is sought, roll number, month and year of examination, contact number, email address, and the call letter/intimation number and date. Verification Process All documents and claims submitted are checked by the Mizoram Scholarship Board in line with the scheme guidelines. Payment Processing After successful verification, the Secretary, Mizoram Scholarship Board, pays the amount straight into the applicant's bank account via the E-Payment system. Application Deadline Claims have to reach the Board within 3 months of the examination results being declared.
Exclusions / Who Is Not Eligible
- The applicant shall not be an employee under the Union or State Government or any Government aided Public Service Undertaking or Board etc. at the time of appearing for the exam.
- The applicant shall not be covered under any scholarship or incentive scheme implemented by the Union or State Government.
