Gopal Incentive Scheme
About Gopal Incentive Scheme
Through the “Gopal Incentive Scheme”, the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, seeks to encourage the rearing of Indian high-breed cattle and greater milk output. Animal breeders and livestock farmers of every category who keep Indian advanced breed cows can take part. A system of rewards is proposed to motivate farmers to rear Indian high-breed bovines, which will give cattle breeders extra income and make male calves of high-breed cows available for farming. The scheme is also meant to raise milk production and grow the number of productive Indian high-breed bovine animals.
