About Free Distribution of Rice to Differently Abled Persons
Under “Free Distribution of Rice to Differently Abled Persons”, the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry supplies free rice, or an equivalent Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), to persons with disabilities. Each beneficiary receives 15 Kgs of rice per month or the matching DBT amount. Beneficiaries are chosen periodically, and selection is subject to the funds available.
