About Financial Assistance to ST Students under “Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana”
Offered by the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa, the “Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana” gives Scheduled Tribe students extra financial help of upto ₹ 15,000/-. It exists because the maintenance allowance under the Post Matric Scholarship falls short of covering what students spend on food & travel.
