Financial Assistance for Coaching- Haryana Labour Welfare Board
About Financial Assistance for Coaching- Haryana Labour Welfare Board
Implemented by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board (HLWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Haryana, the “Financial Assistance for Coaching” scheme was launched on 15.01.2019. It provides workers’ children with up to ₹20,000/- for entrance exam coaching for professional courses, and ₹1,00,000/- for Main Examination preparation once they clear the preliminary examination of UPSC and HPSC. Getting into professional courses usually means enrolling in private coaching institutes, which is a heavy expense for workers. Following an announcement by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Board therefore approved coaching assistance for workers’ children, in addition to the existing scholarship scheme, so that children of poor workers can also secure good coaching, win places in good professional courses and build a brighter future.
