Introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, the scheme “Finance Assistant to PACS for Computerization and Integration of PACS through Core Banking System with District Cooperative Banks” seeks to make PACS accounts transparent, accurate and consistent through a shared accounting and management information system. Linking PACS digitally with District and State Cooperative Banks via CBS also strengthens rural financial inclusion and brings smooth banking services to remote areas.

Standard of Assistance: The estimated cost per PACS is ₹ 3,91,369/-, of which the Central Government's 60% contribution comes to ₹1,85,441/- and the State Government's 40% contribution per PACS amounts to ₹1,23,627/-. Remarks: Software training is carried out by the agency empaneled by NABARD on behalf of the Government of India, while the state government handles the procurement of hardware. Minimum Time Limit (in Year) for Reclaiming Benefits: No provision exists for availing the benefit again.
