About Exposure Visits To The Assam Legislative Assembly
To begin with, groups of students ranging from High School upto College level will be taken to watch the Assam Legislative Assembly while it is in session, in consultation with the Assam Legislative Assembly Sectt. Where needed, schools and colleges will be chosen with input from the respective DCs/Inspectors of Schools, and the Headmasters/Principals will pick the students. Preference will go to students of related subjects such as Political Science, Economics, etc. in the Arts/Humanities streams of colleges/higher secondary schools, and social sciences in secondary schools. Groups will include both girls and boys where the chosen institution is co-educational, and every group will travel with, and be guided by, one male and one female teacher deputed by the Headmaster/Principal.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Exposure Visits To The Assam Legislative Assembly, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Educational Institutions
Educational Institutions: Participation is open to High/Higher Secondary Schools and colleges located in Assam.
Subjects/Streams
Subjects/Streams: Preference goes to students of related subjects such as Political Science, Economics, etc. in the Arts/Humanities streams of colleges/higher secondary schools, and of social sciences in secondary schools.
Selection
Selection: Students with strong academic records who take an active part in extracurricular pursuits such as debating competitions, student activities and mock parliament may be chosen.
Batch Size
Batch Size: A single batch may have no more than 50 students.
Voluntary Participation
Voluntary Participation: Joining the visit is optional, and only students who are willing should be picked.
