Launched by the Education Department, Bihar, the “Mukhyamantri Balika Protsahan Yojana” works to spread education among girls and to motivate them towards academic excellence. Girls who obtain a first division in the matriculation examination are rewarded with a one-time financial incentive of ₹10,000/-.
