About Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU)
The Planning Department, Haryana Government, introduced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU) in the financial year 2023-24, with effect from 1st April 2023. It pays financial assistance when a member of a family whose annual income, as verified in the Family Information Data Repository (FIDR) database, is under ₹1.80 lakh dies (naturally or in an accident) or is permanently disabled by an accident. The amount paid depends on the person’s age at the time of death or permanent disability, and people older than 6 years and up to 60 years are covered. Permanent disability is covered only when it results from an accident. Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas (HPSN), Government of Haryana, is the implementing agency. Objective: To give eligible residents of the State social and financial security.
