About Children With Special Needs Under Goa Sarva Shiksha Abhivan
Through the “Children With Special Needs (CWSN)” scheme, the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa, gives well-rounded educational help and resources suited to differently-abled children. It is meant to make sure that every child, whatever the type of disability (intellectual, physical and so on), gets the support needed for schooling and all-round growth. Support covers medical assessments, setting up resource rooms, home-based education, teaching-learning materials (TLM) and special training for teachers and volunteers.
