Under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand, the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board runs the “Basic Kayaking Course”. Its purpose is to prepare young people from Uttarakhand to become certified, skilled kayaking instructors who also possess essential life-saving abilities.
