About Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana (AOGUSY): Support for Development of Standards and Accreditation/Certification of Ayush Products and Materials in Collaboration With BIS, QCI and Other Relevant Scientific Institutions and Industrial R&D Centres
Also under the Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana, this Ministry of Ayush component builds up the standardisation ecosystem for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy, and other Ayush products and raw materials. Eligible organisations and institutions get funding for research, testing, and the development of quality standards, accreditation systems, and certification mechanisms. The component also funds capacity building and technical staff training needed to develop scientifically validated standards, and each supported organisation is expected to develop standards for a set number of Ayush materials each year.
