About Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana
By giving free LPG connections to families without a gas connection, the Yojana seeks to release the women of Himachal Pradesh from indoor pollution. The Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna was started to give free gas connections to families left out of the Centre’s Ujjwala scheme, and the state government modelled it on PMUY. For the women of Himachal, the State Government’s Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana has turned out to be a boon. Thanks to the Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna, reliance on wood as fuel has fallen. The harm that smoke did to women’s health has also eased, and their standard of living has improved.
