About AICTE-ISTE INDUCTION/REFRESHER PROGRAMME SCHEME
AICTE, together with ISTE, runs the Induction/Refresher Programme to fund AICTE-approved institutions and universities in training the teaching faculty of technical institutions.
Objectives: Beyond professional refinement for technical-institution teachers, the programme aims to:
- Update teachers’ knowledge and sharpen their organisational and pedagogical skills.
- Create a space for teachers working in the same specialisation to interact and swap ideas, keeping their knowledge current.
- Familiarise teachers with modern engineering practices and the latest industry-adopted technology, in line with national needs, priorities, and relevant technologies.
- Open up new frontiers in technology for teachers, along with the challenges and opportunities these present to the dedicated and hardworking.
