Agri-Clinics And Agri-Business Centres Scheme
About Agri-Clinics And Agri-Business Centres Scheme
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare runs the Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centres Scheme (ACABC) together with NABARD and MANAGE. It aims to supplement public agricultural extension efforts, support agricultural development, and open up gainful self-employment for unemployed agricultural graduates and similar candidates.
Training
As part of this effort, the government offers start-up training to graduates in Agriculture and allied fields — Horticulture, Sericulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Dairy, Poultry Farming, Fisheries, and more. Anyone who completes the training can then apply for special start-up loans to launch their venture.
