Madhya Pradesh’s Animal Husbandry Department runs the “Advanced Animal Breeding Scheme (Supply of Breedable Pedigree Murrah Bulls on Subsidy)” to upgrade cattle breeding by giving pedigreed, breedable Murrah bulls to progressive livestock rearers and trained cow servants. Livestock keepers of every category get the bulls at a 75% subsidy. Applications move through a multi-tier approval process that starts at the Gram Sabha, and the scheme covers every district of the state.

Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Advanced Animal Breeding Scheme (Supply of Breedable Pedigree Murrah Bull on Subsidy) through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Initial Approval of beneficiaries takes place in the Gram Sabha.
Secondary Approval of Gram Sabha-cleared beneficiaries is given by the Janpad Panchayat.
Final Approval rests with the Agriculture Standing Committee of the District Panchayat.
Applicants should get in touch with the closest Veterinary Officer, i.e. the District Incharge of Animal Dispensary / Deputy Director of Veterinary concerned.
