About Mukhyamantri Avivahita Pension Yojana
To support women who, for one reason or another, have never married and lead their lives alone, the Madhya Pradesh government has introduced the ‘Mukhyamantri Avivahit Pension Yojana’ under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. A monthly pension of ₹ 600 is paid by the government so that these women can meet their daily needs with ease, need not rely on anyone else, and can live happily. The support is intended to help them build a brighter future and improve their lives without difficulty. Unmarried women above 50 years of age have been brought under the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Married Women Pension Scheme so that their social and economic standing can improve.
