Mukhya Mantri Sahara Yojana
About Mukhya Mantri Sahara Yojana
Patients from economically weaker sections who suffer from specified diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, Malignant Cancer, Paralysis, Muscular Dystrophy, Hemophilia and Thalassemia, receive financial help under the ‘Sahara Scheme’ launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Those with chronic renal failure, or any other disease that leaves a person permanently incapacitated, are covered too. As a social security measure, the scheme aims to support patients with fatal diseases and ease the difficulties that come with long treatment.
