The Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, runs “Micro Finance (GBCDC)” to help men from the backwards classes become self-employed. Backwards class men receive financial help and loans at low interest under the scheme, which the Gujarat Backwards Classes Development Corporation implements.
