On 11 March 2015, the Labor Department of Chhattisgarh State launched the “Mahila Kamgar Kaushal Unnayan Evan Theka Shramik, Hamaal Tatha Ghareloo Mahila Kamgaar Parivar Sashaktikaran Yojana” for workers in the unorganised sector. Its chief aim is to give women workers, contract workers, porters, and domestic workers skill development training and to empower their families.
