About Mahadevi Verma Shramik Pustak Kraya Dhan Yojana
Started by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2022, the Mahadevi Verma Shramik Pustak Kraya Dhan Yojana (MVSPKDPY) sets out to support the daughters of construction workers. Since such families often struggle financially, the scheme gives a one-time grant that helps these students buy books for higher studies. The money eases the load on the family and lets the young women concentrate on their studies. By making course material easier to get, the MVSPKDPY encourages higher education in this community and helps daughters of construction workers reach their academic goals.
