About Haryana Provision of Sports Equipment Scheme
Under the “Haryana Provision of Sports Equipment Scheme”, the Sports Department, Government of Haryana, supplies sports gear to Gram Panchayats and Municipal bodies to draw the state’s young people into games such as Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Handball, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo and Cricket. A suitable Field of Play (FoP) for the sport concerned must exist in the town/village to qualify.

A Field of Play (FOP) for the intended sport must be available in the town/village.
Benefits Provided
Haryana Provision of Sports Equipment Scheme provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Volleyball:
up to 06 Balls plus a Net (where poles are installed)
Football:
up to 06 Balls plus a Net (where poles are installed)
Basketball:
up to 06 Balls (where poles are installed)
Handball:
up to 06 Balls plus a Net (where poles are installed)
Boxing:
up to 06 Punching Bags and 12 pairs of gloves
Wrestling:
18-piece Mats with cover, each 1 meter long x 2 meters wide & 5 cm thick
Judo:
18-piece Mats with cover, each 1 meter long x 2 meters wide & 5 cm thick
Cricket:
one kit containing 02 bats, 02 sets of wickets with stumps, 06 balls, two pairs of batting pads and gloves, and one pair of wicket-keeping pads and gloves

NOTE 2: For a Gram Panchayat, the village Sarpanch can apply, or the Gram Sachiv if the Sarpanch post is vacant.
