About Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana
Funded by the government, the Uttar Pradesh Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana gives financial help to construction workers registered with the UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board who are not covered by the “Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana” or the “Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana”.
When a construction worker’s family member falls ill, support is given for treatment at any government hospital or autonomous hospital of the Government of India or the Uttar Pradesh Government, or at hospitals empanelled by the National Health Authority of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or by SACHIS (State Agency For Comprehensive Health Insurance and Integrated Services), which operates at the state level.
