About Free Books Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students Pursuing Higher Education
The Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana, started the “Free Books Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students Pursuing Higher Education” on 1st July, 2008 to motivate Scheduled Caste (SC) students towards higher studies. SC students at government colleges receive ₹2,000/- per student per annum to buy books, and the scheme covers every government college in Haryana.
