About Financial Assistance to Helpless Artists
The Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, introduced the “Financial Assistance to Helpless Artists” scheme to give financial security to elderly, physically disabled artists living in severe poverty. Artists and their dependents who are physically disabled, older than 60 years, earn under ₹600 a month and cannot support themselves because of age or disability receive monthly assistance.
