About Financial Assistance to Commercial Tiatr Troupes/Directors/Producers for Stage Setting
The Tiatr Academy of Goa launched the “Financial Assistance to Commercial Tiatr Troupes/Directors/Producers for Stage Setting” scheme to promote the all-round growth of Tiatr by motivating commercial directors and producers to improve their stage settings, responding to the need for better theatrical infrastructure and production standards. Each year, six commercial tiatr troupes/directors/producers receive support for stage setting, on conditions that include completing fifteen performances and displaying the Tiatr Academy logo on the sets.

The benefit is paid once per beneficiary. The Tiatr Academy of Goa logo must appear on the visible front frames of the stage set. The stage set built under the scheme may not be hired out to others. No adverse remarks against any individual, government or political party may be made while the set is in use. Work on the set may begin only after written approval is received from Tiatr Academy of Goa.

The beneficiary will not be entitled to avail the benefit again under this scheme for the next five years from the date of receiving the financial assistance.
