Fee Reimbursement Scheme

Uttar Pradesh
Quick Summary: Uttar Pradesh's Fee Reimbursement Scheme repays annual fees of up to Rs. 50,000/- for OBC students whose family income is within Rs. 2 Lakh, based on course group and merit.

About Fee Reimbursement Scheme

Education is the foremost tool for lifting backward classes, since a social group stays backward when it lacks education. Even after the long period that has passed since the country’s independence, the educational standing of Other Backward Classes has not improved as hoped, despite numerous efforts to raise it. The Department of Backward Classes Welfare currently runs the Fee Reimbursement scheme online, aiming to develop backward classes and lift their educational level. Each year, the scheme gives a scholarship to Other Backward Classes students enrolled in all government schools and in aided and recognized educational institutes. The Department of Backward Classes Welfare keeps working steadily to improve the education of backward classes.
