About Establishment of Cell for SC/ST
The Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), under the Science and Technology department of the Government of Uttarakhand, carries out the “Establishment of Cell for SC/ST” scheme. A dedicated cell is being set up to strengthen Uttarakhand’s Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities: it tackles their core challenges using science and technology, fosters sustainable development, builds on traditional knowledge, and creates skill development and entrepreneurship avenues for inclusive growth.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Establishment of Cell for SC/ST, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Beneficiaries should be members of a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe community living in any of the 13 districts spread across the Kumaon and Garhwal divisions of Uttarakhand.
