Applicants can apply for E-Rickshaw Kalyan Yojana through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Applicants seeking an e-rickshaw loan should go to their nearest cooperative bank and pick up the application form. Opening an account with that cooperative bank is compulsory, and the applicant as well as the two guarantors have to be enrolled as nominal members of the bank.
Submit the form together with these documents: the dealer's quotation, details of two guarantors, a permanent residence certificate, Aadhaar card, a statement from the bank concerned, voter ID card bearing a local address, an electricity or water bill in the applicant's name, and a valid driving license. Jobless applicants living in rented houses in urban, semi-urban or rural areas must additionally furnish a tenancy certificate and the Uttarakhand Permanent Resident Certificate.
After the application and documents are lodged, the bank examines and sanctions the loan and releases the money straight to the dealer. The applicant then pays back the loan in daily or monthly instalments with interest at 9% per year.
