Among the components of the scheme “Distribution of Seeds of more productive varieties / Hybrid varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area (TASP)” is “Tarpaulin”, introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme supplies subsidised farm inputs and tools to Scheduled Tribe farmers to lift agricultural production. Here, assistance towards the purchase price of a tarpaulin is given to tribal cultivators to help raise their productivity and livelihood.

Benefits Provided
Distribution of Seeds of more productions varieties/ Hybrids varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area: Tarpaulin Gujarat provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:

1. The subsidy meets 75% of the tarpaulin's purchase price or ₹1,875/-, whichever is smaller.
Conditions
Conditions: No more than two tarpaulins may be claimed per account.
Frequency of Disbursement
Frequency of Disbursement: A fresh claim is allowed once every 3 years.

Remark: Subject to conditions No. 5, 16, 17, 19 and 22 of Appendix-1. (Refer Scheme No. 35)
