Introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, the scheme “Distribution of Seeds of more productive varieties / Hybrid varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies, etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area (TASP)” contains a “Field demonstration (TASP & OTASP)” component. By offering inputs at subsidised rates, it aims to boost the farm productivity and livelihoods of tribal communities. Farmers from scheduled tribes, including tribal cultivators residing outside tribal areas, benefit from plant protection equipment, tarpaulins, field demonstrations, micronutrients, agriculture fairs, water carrying pipelines, castor cake/neem cake/LFOM/green manure, pump sets, 100% water-soluble fertilizer, plant protection pesticides, etc. When these are used as science recommends, crop output can rise markedly, bringing better livelihoods with it.

Support of up to ₹4000/- is given for a one-acre (0.40 ha) demonstration, with one demonstration allowed per account.
Frequency of Disbursement
Frequency of Disbursement: The benefit may be claimed every years.
Remark
Remark: Subject to conditions No. 5, 16, 17, 19 and 22 of Appendix-1. (Refer Scheme No. 35). Condition number-14 additionally requires supplying the input material prescribed by the committee.
