About Award of Pre-matric Scholarship to the Students Whose Parents Are Engaged in Unclean Occupation
Through the “Award of Pre-matric Scholarship to the Students Whose Parents Are Engaged in Unclean Occupation”, the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry, grants scholarships to children of parents working in unclean occupations (scavenger, Flayers & Tarner), with the goal of lifting the standing of this underprivileged section of society. Income and caste are not considered when awarding these scholarships.
