About Attendance Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students with Disabilities of Rural Areas
Introduced by the Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, Government of Punjab, the “Attendance Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students with Disabilities of Rural Areas” seeks to improve the standing of rural girls with disabilities & help them become self-reliant by paying them an incentive in the form of an Attendance Scholarship. It motivates these girls to keep studying and helps cut dropout rates.

Benefits Provided
Attendance Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students with Disabilities of Rural Areas provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Rate of Scholarship:
Girls studying up to 10th standard receive ₹2,500/-…
Girls studying up to 10th standard receive ₹2,500/- per annum.
Girls from 10+1 onwards up to higher education…
Girls from 10+1 onwards up to higher education receive ₹3,000/- per annum. Note: The scholarship is paid online by the Directorate directly into the student's bank account.
