Artisan Promotion
About Artisan Promotion
Under the “Artisan Promotion” scheme, the Delhi Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities, and Safai Karamchari Finance and Development Corporation (DSFDC), Government of Delhi, helps artisans display their skills at national fairs and exhibitions (Shilpotsav, IITF, East Himalaya Expo, International Surajkund Mela) held by the various National Apex Corporations. Participation fees, lodging, boarding and stipends are covered financially, so that artisans gain visibility, recognition and income. DSFDC carries out the scheme jointly with the different National Apex Corporations.
