Launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat, the “Antyeshthi Sahay Yojana” is a welfare measure for families of senior citizens who were receiving old-age assistance. When such a senior citizen passes away, the legal heir is given one-time financial help towards funeral and related costs.
