About Akhil Bharatiya Civil Services Pratiyogita
Launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand, the scheme “Akhil Bharatiya Civil Services Pratiyogita” allows staff from different government departments of the state to compete every year in All-India level tournaments across multiple sports, which are organised by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.

Application Process
Selection trials are held at district and state levels, and players who are chosen get to compete in the Akhil Bharatiya Civil Services Pratiyogita.
Each year, around 150 staff members from different Uttarakhand government departments gain from the scheme by competing in All-India Level Competitions in several sports, held by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Government of India, for employees of Central and State Governments.
