Internship Programme By The Ministry Of External Affairs
About Internship Programme By The Ministry Of External Affairs
The Ministry of External Affairs launched the first edition of its Internship Programme in 2022, aiming to bring foreign policy closer to citizens, sharpen focus on MEA’s work, add value for interns, and improve gender inclusivity and diversity — in qualifications, domicile, and socio-economic background — among its interns. Through the internship, interns learn about the Ministry’s functioning, its attached offices, its public-facing role in assisting Indian citizens, and may possibly visit a Mission abroad, conditions permitting.

At least 30% of the 75 internships may go to women candidates. Note 2: The total candidates called for interview will be three times the number of interns to be engaged each term.
