About FutureSkills Prime Incentive Program
MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) administers the “FutureSkills Prime Incentive Program” to build a fresh skilling ecosystem in India by subsidising the cost of eligible courses that carry authentic, industry-accepted, accredited certifications. This first-of-its-kind digital-upskilling incentive lets learners train in 10 of the most in-demand technologies and earn incentives of up to ₹14,500*. It spans Foundation, Bridge, and Deep Skilling courses across technologies such as AI, IoT, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. The government directly funds eligible learners’ ambitions, helping them build careers in these technology domains. While the platform offers many industry-curated courses and pathways — many free — this incentive program specifically helps candidates upskill in paid technical courses and get reimbursed on completion.

DeepSkilling – Paid Pathway Incentive Threshold
DeepSkilling – Paid Pathway Incentive Threshold: On successful completion and certification, the incentive is capped at 50% of the fee paid, up to ₹8,000 (all taxes included). Assessment Reimbursement: ₹600 per successful certification, within the ₹8,000 threshold.
DeepSkilling – Free Pathway Incentive Threshold
DeepSkilling – Free Pathway Incentive Threshold: On successful completion and certification, a ₹1,000 incentive applies, provided the subscriber/beneficiary enrols in the next paid course costing at least ₹1,000 (including taxes). Assessment Reimbursement: ₹600, under the same condition of enrolling in a paid course costing at least ₹1,000.
Bridge Courses Incentive Threshold
Bridge Courses Incentive Threshold: On successful completion and certification, the incentive is capped at 50% of the fee paid, up to ₹3,000 (all taxes included). Assessment Reimbursement: ₹600 per successful certification, within the ₹3,000 threshold.
