Assistance to Voluntary Organisations for Promotion of the Official Languages in the Field of Law
About Assistance to Voluntary Organisations for Promotion of the Official Languages in the Field of Law
Launched by the Legislative Department, Government of India, this scheme works to grow and spread legal literature in Hindi and other regional languages. It funds up to 85% of the expected net cost of producing legal literature — commentaries, treatises, law journals, and similar works. Applicants must be voluntary organisations engaged in activities that enrich and promote the use of official languages in the legal field. The Ministry of Law and Justice implements the scheme, and applications go in offline to the Official Languages Wing at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
