Single Point Registration Scheme

Quick Summary: The Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS), run by NSIC under the Ministry of MSME, lets Micro & Small Enterprises register to access government procurement benefits, including EMD exemption and reserved purchase quotas. Registration and renewal, each valid for two years, are completed entirely online through the NSIC portal.

About Single Point Registration Scheme

The Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS) is run by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) — a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) — to enable Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) to take part in government purchases. Units enrolled under this NSIC scheme become eligible for the benefits laid out in the Public Procurement Policy for Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) Order 2012, notified by the Ministry of MSME, New Delhi, through its Gazette Notification dated 23.03.2012 and subsequently amended vide Order No. S.O. 5670(E) dated 9th November 2018.

Note 04: For queries, reach out to NSIC field offices by visiting https://nsic.co.in/Corporate/SearchBranch.aspx Procedure for calculation & fixation of Monetary Limits of Micro & Small Enterprises: An enterprise's monetary limit is fixed based on its net sales turnover over the preceding three years, as shown in the Audited Balance Sheets, using the highest of those three years' turnover — regardless of whether it is the most recent year — provided the unit's installed and operating capacity has not been reduced.
Where plant and machinery capacity has not decreased, the monetary limit is fixed at 50% of the highest turnover recorded in the audited balance sheets over the last 3 years.
Where plant and machinery capacity has decreased by more than 10%, the following applies: 1. If turnover has risen steadily over the last three years and the unit has remained continuously profitable, the monetary limit may be fixed at 50% of the net sales turnover achieved in the most recent year. 2. If the company/partnership/proprietorship unit incurred a loss in one of the past three years, its monetary limit is fixed at 40% of its average net sales turnover. 3. If the Micro & Small Enterprise incurred losses in two of the past three years, the monetary limit is fixed at 30% of its average net sales turnover for that period. 4. If the enterprise was in loss throughout all three years, its monetary limit is fixed at 20% of its average net sales turnover for that period. The applicant may use the Fee Calculator at http://www.nsicspronline.com/Fee_Calculator.aspx to work out the applicable fee.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
