About Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Chhatravas Yojana
Started by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, the “Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Chhatravas Yojana” gives a monthly stipend of ₹1,000/- to minority community students who live in minority hostels and study at a recognized institution, school, college, university or technical institution in their own district. While staying in hostels run by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, these students also get 9 kg of rice and 6 kg of wheat each month.
