About Mukhiya Mantri Protsahan Yojna
In 2013-14, the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh launched the “Mukhiya Mantri Protsahan Yojna”. Every student from the State who is selected for and joins a degree course at any Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) or All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), or a post Graduate Diploma Course at any Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), receives an Incentive/Award. With effect from 2014-15, the Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad at Jharkhand & the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) at Bangalore were added to the institutions qualifying for the award.

To qualify for Mukhiya Mantri Protsahan Yojna, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
