About Mrityu Ki Dasha Me Antyeshti Evam Anugrah Sahayata Yojana
Since 2004, the Madhya Pradesh Labor Department has run the “Mrityu ki Dasha Mein Antyeshti Evam Anugrah Sahayata Yojana”, which gives financial help to the dependents of registered construction workers in Madhya Pradesh when the worker dies. The financial assistance under the scheme is meant to:
- Ease the immediate money strain that funeral costs place on the family.
- Give the family some support in a hard time after the breadwinner is lost.
- Ex-gratia amounts are also paid where an accident causes permanent or partial disability, adding a measure of financial security for registered workers who struggle after an injury suffered at work.
