Launched by the Transport Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, the “Motor Vehicle Driver-Conductor Welfare Scheme- Training and Rehabilitation in Case of Permanent Disability due to Accident” looks after the welfare and rehabilitation of registered transport vehicle drivers and conductors. Drivers and conductors left permanently disabled by accidents receive training and rehabilitation support so that they can earn a livelihood again.
